then President John Krikken introduced
two members who had transferred from other clubs
Chris White
Chris has been associated with Rotary since her Rotaract days in 1972
and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Northbridge
where she has been the Bulletin Editor
for the last 4 years.
Chris has also been involved in fundraising
for ‘Lifeline’ and other worthy causes
Ron Mildenhall
President John welcomed Ron Mildenhall
as a new member to the Rotary Club of Busselton – Geographe bay,
transferring from the Rotary Club of Kenwick
President John said Ron has been a career public servant
within project management with the Commonwealth government until he retired.
He has continued in the public service with casual employment,
principally in the recruitment area.
Ron joined the Rotary Club of Kenwick on 29th August 2001
albeit he had some previous experience with Rotary,
having been sponsored by the Rotary Club of Victoria Park
to attend the first Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)
seminar in 1969.

Rotary Club of Busselton Geograhe Bay
Graeme Durward
Graeme has been the Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Busselton,
then the Rotary Club of Geographe,
followed by the Rotary Club of Busselton – Geographe Bay
after the two clubs amalgamated.
He has been treasurer for 9 years and has put his hand up
to be treasurer again for incoming President Ken.
He has also been a football umpire for more than 20 years
at very senior levels within the SW Football League
and is still umpiring
Eddie Rose
Eddie can only be described as a person who is always there to fill in the gaps
or put his hand up to do the hard work.
Over the years Eddie has been the mainstay of the markets,
both in organising them as well as being the person
who is there at 5am on a wet chilly Sunday morning to open the gates
and let the first market stall holder through.
The markets are a significant income earner for the Club
and without Eddie always being there – t
he Club would be a lot poorer in more ways than one.
